Privacy Notice
Effective July 27, 2026 · updated August 3, 2026 · Sold and Found is operated by S&P Authentications LLC, a California limited liability company.
What we collect
Waitlist: the email address, optional seller handle, and optional message you submit. Accounts (invited users): your sign-in details (handled by our authentication provider) and the data you choose to import — your platform export files, which can include your sales records and your buyers' usernames and order information.
S&F Find (the chat on our home page)
Find is open to anyone and needs no account, so we do not know who you are. When you tell it what card you are hunting, we save that hunt: the words you used, in the text you typed them, plus the card number, the treatment, and the budget if you mentioned one. Your messages are sent to Anthropic, which runs the model that answers you. Please do not type anything private into it — the description of your hunt is stored exactly as written, including anything else in that sentence.
We do not ask for, or store, any way to contact you. No email address, no phone number, no handle. Nobody will follow up with you about a hunt, because there is no way for us to. If you offer an address anyway, Find will tell you it cannot take it and will not save it.
We never store your IP address. To stop one person running up our costs, we keep a one-way scrambled fingerprint of it that cannot be turned back into an address, and that row is deleted after 48 hours. Your browser also generates a random id for the conversation, which lives in that browser tab and is saved alongside the hunt. Separately we count how many requests Find handled each day and what they cost us; those are totals with nothing personal in them.
How long we keep it: hunts are kept for at most 24 months and then deleted, and any figure we report from them looks only at the last 90 days.
Deleting a hunt. The hunt list is built so that the website itself can add to it but can never read it back — that is deliberate, and it is what stops a bug or a misled chatbot from handing the list to anyone. The side effect is that there is no screen where you can look your own hunts up, and we cannot search for them by you, because we hold nothing that identifies you. Email contact@soldandfound.com with roughly when you used Find and what you asked for, and we will search the list by hand and delete what matches.
How we use it
Waitlist emails are used only to contact you about the pilot and early access. Imported data powers your own account's features (profit tracking, buyer history, and similar) and lets us keep the service running and help you when something breaks. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for marketing.
Who else touches it
Service providers that run our infrastructure process data on our behalf: hosting (Vercel), database (Neon), authentication (Clerk), and — for the Find card finder only — Anthropic, which runs the model that writes its replies. They act under their own security terms and our instructions.
Us: a named list of Sold and Found accounts — today, the two founders — can open your workspace to answer a support question or look into a problem, whether you reported it or we spotted it. That access is read-only: we cannot add, change, or delete any of your records. It includes the buyer usernames and order records in the files you imported. The one thing we do write is the record of our own visit, kept alongside your workspace's data — ask and we will show you yours. A screen where you can read that log yourself is planned, not built.
Your data is yours
Everything you import is exportable from the product. To have your information deleted — waitlist entry or account data — email contact@soldandfound.com and we'll handle it.
This notice will grow
This is an early-stage notice describing exactly what we do today. A complete, counsel-reviewed privacy policy and terms of service will replace it before the pilot opens broadly. If practices change, this page changes first.
